In an effort to enhance digital security awareness and skills within the Offa community, One Innovation Hub Offa (ONEIH) has announced the commencement of a comprehensive 10-week cyber security training programme in a bid to enhance digital security awareness and skills within the Offa community.
The training sessions are scheduled to take place every Friday from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM, starting on the 19th of April, 2024.
Leading this initiative is Dr. (Mrs.) Suhurat Ikeola Olatinwo, MCPN, MNCS, MAITP, MNIWIIT, FIPMD, a renowned figure in the field of technology and academia.
Dr. Olatinwo brings a wealth of experience and expertise to the programme, having previously served as the Head of Department for Artificial Intelligence Technology (AIT) at The Federal Polytechnic Offa [FEDPOFFA], Kwara State.
Currently, Dr. Suhurat Olatinwo holds lectureship position at the Computer Science Department within the Faculty of Communication and Information Science at the University of Ilorin (UNILORIN), Kwara State.
Her vast knowledge and dedication to the field make her an ideal instructor for this crucial cyber security training initiative.
Participants in the programme can expect to gain invaluable insights into various aspects of cyber security, ranging from threat detection and prevention to best practices for safeguarding digital assets.
