The Computer Science Department, Federal Polytechnic Offa (FEDPOFFA), Kwara State has embarked on a transformative journey at One Innovation Hub Offa (ONEIH) on Thursday, March 28, 2024.
Led by Mr. Aliyu Musiliyu Jide, the Head of Department, 15 students of the department delved into the onboarding process for an upcoming series of training sessions covering Videography, Photography, Graphic Design, Web Design, and Social Media Management.
During their visit, the students underwent registration procedures for both 3MTT and ONEIH programmes.
They received comprehensive insights into the scholarship opportunities available, along with detailed explanations of the course modules. These modules encompassed a wide range of digital skills vital for today’s dynamic job market.
Furthermore, the students underwent screening to assess their proficiency levels in digital literacy. This step aimed to tailor the training sessions to accommodate the diverse skill sets within the group, ensuring an optimal learning experience for each participant.
The initiative marks a significant step towards equipping students with the practical skills needed to thrive in the digital landscape, aligning with the growing demand for professionals well-versed in multimedia production, design, and digital marketing. With the guidance of Mr. Jide and the resources provided by ONEIH, these students are poised to emerge as competent and competitive individuals in their respective fields upon completion of the training programme.
